This place has the BEST grilled T Loin in the Quad Cities!

Every time we go here (which has only been two times) I end up really drunk and I throw up later. But that's okay. The bartenders are friendly, the drinks are cheap. It reminds me a lot of some bars I used to go to in Chicago. The crowd is semi-friendly, I guess. The only reason I wouldn't give it more stars is because of how bright it is in there and the jukebox really sucks.

Total dive bar. PERFECT for drinking a cheap pitcher of beer outside on a beautiful Friday night. Interesting, entertaining, and friendly crowd for those visiting Rock Island.

Stereotypical dive bar, but extremely fun. Cheap drinks and their food is a lot better then I expected even though its a limited menu. I've been there several times and I guess I was most impressed by how inviting the bartenders are. Although you will find mostly locals, there is a Holiday Inn across the street which provides an always changing crowd. The owner is very jolly and polite man who seems to be very well liked by his regulars, and it seems like he prefers to the dirty work such as take out trash, change kegs, clean up messes, and I even saw him scrubbing a toilet once which having an owner doing those kind of jobs is extremely rare in the bar industry. They also have free popcorn that they make fresh regularly, peanuts, and even chips and salsa sometimes. They have like around 10 TVs which is great for college football watching. I gave it 4 stars though because the bathroom is small and seen better days, but is full of random (and funny) sayings typical of dive bar bathrooms.

When you have no where else to go.. This is it. It's very close to the Holiday Inn express And is open later than Bennigans.. Just a more older local crowd. Although always friendly and cool to everyone! Domestics on tap.

I like. Just had an ultra cheap draft of the Budweiser. Super cheap, intriguing Mid-West meaty menu. We might go back for a couple later. Planning on having lunch there tomorrow before we leave town. I'll let you know. Yep, had some lunch there. Nice lunch time crowd, mildly bustling with locals. Hardworking ladies behind the bar and grill. Had a 1/2 pound cheeseburger, my pal a filet mignon burger both served with crispy slaw. Cheap and good. Was eyeballing tater tots and fried filet of pork tenderloin. Next trip through.

This place is your classic dive bar, but in a good way! This is the type of place that you can eat in-shell peanuts and throw your shells on the floor. They have pretty cheap drinks and free popcorn and peanuts. You can't go wrong with any of that! There are several TVs, a couple game machines, and jukebox. They have a grill where they can whip a pretty solid menu of your classic bar food. I'm a big fan of their bacon cheeseburger and their mini tacos. They make their own tortilla chips, which are very very tasty. Bartenders are friendly and talkative. The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired, but I suppose they fit the style of the place quite well. All in all, it's a solid choice for having some drinks with friends.

This was right across the street from the hotel we stayed at and was our first stop of our Saturday night in the Quads. The people were very friendly. When I ordered three beers and a Jack and Coke and it came out less than $15, I nearly fell off of my barstool! You can't touch that for under $20 back here in Chicago.

Absolutely fantastic bar for a real bar experience. Popcorn, peanuts, bar food, cheap drinks, and even a cigarette vending machine. Free chips and salsa were great too.

This is a great little dive bar with friendly attentive ladies at your service! The gals are great because they always remember my name..."Honey". It feels good to be remembered each time I come in! "Hey Honey". They have a respectable grill menu and you can always get a burger for breakfast here. Ironically enough, this place has 13 bar stools and 13 TV screens if you need something else to occupy your time!

Stepping into IL, the people are friendlier. Hawkeyes are nice, but there's something different about being east of the Mississippi. Grab a PBR in bottle form and make small talk with the locals. Buy one of them a beer for wearing a Jeff Gordon cap and she may offer you a pinch of chewing tobacco. Now, I am just kicking myself for not offering to buy her a tub of Skol or Timberwolf and seeing if I can get my hands out of that semi-mullet she had going.
